If nothing else, you can at least find an endless stream of photos posted there, as well as a few of our favorite dessert recipes:
- Frozen Oatmeal Cookies - this is what I was thinking about when I bought the oatmealcookies.org domain back in 1999
- Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie - another oatmeal cookie recipe that we picked up a few years ago
- Chocolate Lava Cakes - a more recent addition, which happens to be my favorite at the moment
The family site is kind of rough around the edges, but I’m (very) slowly overhauling it over time. I may post about significant changes to it on this blog, but I probably won’t. :)

All of the posts and comments from those previous sites have been imported into this one, which is currently running wordpress hosted on a server in my home. Since it’s in my home, it’s subject to occasional downtime (rare, but things happen) and limited bandwidth. If the bandwidth eventually becomes an issue, I’ll consider paying for hosting on a dedicated server with a fast pipe. For now, I don’t see enough traffic to warrant the cost. If I ever do move it, though, the URL will remain the same.
